RENT WITH CONFIDENCE
Rental terms & conditions.
The essentials for renting a knee scooter from Rent2Move.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
1. Your booking
Completing the form or sending a WhatsApp request does not reserve a scooter. Rent2Move will confirm availability, rental dates, handover and return arrangements, the total price and payment arrangements with you before the booking is confirmed.
Please provide your name and a contact number where we can reach you, plus an accurate delivery address if you request delivery.
2. Rental prices
- 1 week (7 days): R250
- 2 weeks (14 days): R500
- 4 weeks (28 days): R800
Other rental periods require a quote. The rental fee, refundable deposit and any delivery charge are separate items. Any extension and its price must be agreed with Rent2Move before the agreed return date.
3. Refundable deposit
A refundable R500 deposit is added to the rental fee. The scooter and supplied accessories will be checked on return. The deposit is refundable if they are returned without loss or damage arising during the rental, subject to section 7.
The deposit refund timeframe will be confirmed with you before your booking is finalised.
4. Delivery and collection
Delivery within the Centurion area is free. Outside Centurion, the delivery cost will be confirmed. Any delivery charge must be confirmed with you before your booking is finalised.
Delivery times, collection arrangements and how the scooter will be returned are agreed directly with Rent2Move. Free delivery within Centurion does not specify a return collection service; please confirm your return arrangements when booking.
5. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation is free when you notify Rent2Move at least 24 hours before the agreed delivery time. Contact us on 062 084 3080 or WhatsApp to cancel or request a change.
For cancellations less than 24 hours before delivery, contact us as soon as possible. No late cancellation fee is specified here. The policy for collection bookings and any applicable refund arrangements must be confirmed before booking.
6. Suitability and safe use
Ask your healthcare professional whether a knee scooter is suitable for you. Rent2Move’s website provides general equipment information, not individual medical advice. Follow the instructions supplied with the scooter, including its weight and adjustment limits.
Check the equipment at handover and tell us about any existing damage. Use it carefully, keep it secure and do not alter or repair it yourself. Do not use stairs or escalators, carry passengers or sit on the knee support. Stop using the scooter and contact us if it is damaged or develops a fault.
7. Returns, loss and damage
Return the scooter and supplied accessories at the agreed time and place. Let us know promptly about loss, damage or a delayed return.
If the scooter or supplied accessories are lost or damaged during your rental, the R500 deposit will be withheld and is non-refundable, subject to applicable South African consumer law. Pre-existing damage and fair wear and tear are excluded. We will explain any loss or damage identified during the return inspection and give you an opportunity to raise a concern.
No additional replacement or late-return fee is set by these terms. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory consumer rights.
8. Your information
The booking form prepares a WhatsApp message for you to review and send. The website does not store the form details. When you open the WhatsApp link, those details are shared with WhatsApp; when you send the message, Rent2Move receives them to handle your enquiry and rental. Please do not include ID numbers, bank details or medical records in the form.
9. Questions and consumer rights
Contact Rent2Move on 062 084 3080 with a question or concern about your rental. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable South African consumer law.
